2. Overview

Cliperino is a free tool that converts clips into a vertical 9:16 video. There are no user accounts, no registration and no analytics or advertising tools. No tracking cookies are set.

3. Processing of video files (locally in the browser)

Uploaded video files are processed exclusively on your device in your browser. Cropping and creating the vertical video happens directly in your browser. The video files are not transmitted to us and are not stored on a server. The finished video is also created locally and downloaded directly from your device.

4. Importing Twitch clips

When you paste the link to a public Twitch clip, our server fetches the corresponding video file from Twitch and passes it to your browser for editing. Only the clip address you entered and the technically necessary connection data are processed. Neither the clip nor the address is stored permanently. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR (providing the function you requested). To prevent abuse, the number of requests is briefly limited in memory.

5. Local storage (localStorage)

We only store your selected language (German, English or Spanish) in your browser so that it is kept for your next visit. This storage is strictly necessary to provide the function you selected (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG) and therefore takes place without consent. You can delete this entry at any time in your browser settings. No other cookies are used.

6. Hosting and server log files

When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically processes technical connection data, in particular IP address, date and time of access, requested address, amount of data transferred, and browser and operating system information. This data is required for the error-free provision and security of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The data is not combined with other data sources and is deleted after a short time.

7. Fonts

A font from Google Fonts is loaded to display this website. In the process, your IP address is transmitted to Google. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (consistent presentation of the website).
